Whether it is a wedding, conference, birthday party, bar mitzvah or anniversary, an oceanside venue can make any event more memorable.  The association’s Sandcastle and Cinder Creek Boat House are available to members and sponsored guests to create just such a unique waterfront experience.

The Sandcastle facility, which can hold up to 180 people, is equipped with a full catering kitchen and dining area. Members may hire a caterer of their choice. The Sandcastle staff will provide and setup all Sandcastle tables and chairs, in addition to glassware, dinnerware and flatware. Any outside rentals must be setup through a coordinator or service provider.

Another service offered through the association is neighborhood block parties, which build community spirit and introduce new acquaintances.  The block party fee is minimal and is fully refundable upon providing KICA with photos of your happy event. After successfully facilitating 60 private events in 2009, the association is confident that 2010 will bring even higher demand.  With 40 dates already booked for 2010, members are encouraged to book their events as soon as possible. We are already receiving inquiries for availability in 2011!
