Rhett's Bluff Pavilion at the Kiawah River Landing

In the waning sunlight, gulls and skimmers swoop down at the water’s surface in the day’s last fishing attempt. Wading birds stroll majestically in the shallows. Dolphin fins dot the waterway and spartina grass waves in the slight breeze. Welcome to Rhett’s Bluff.

Rhett’s Bluff is home to one of the island’s boat landings. A two-lane ramp and floating dock make launching your boat (up to 30’ in length, including trailer) quick and easy, whether you’re planning to fish, bask in the sun, or sightsee. Sunset cruises sponsored by KICA’s Recreation Department occasionally depart from this landing.
